Vector 300GWP
The Vector 300GWP has all the functionality of a 300FM, but also includes Wireless LAN and a PLC4Trucks communications unit.
The PLC4Trucks communication standard uses the power wires of a vehicle to transmit communication signals. The Vector 300GWP and Vector 300XWP when used in conjunction with the Prolificx PLCTAG is capable of:
- Detecting hook and drop hook events
- Real-time tracking of trailing equipment
- Distance reporting
- Gate arrival and departure warnings

The additional Green Fakra connector is for the Wireless LAN antenna. The additional 2-way Molex housing is the PLC4Trucks connector.
The Main V300GWP/XWP power supply is capable of running from a 12 or 24 volt supply as per a standard Vector 300FM, however the PLC reader power supply is a seperate connection and must only be connected to a 12v PLC system (10v-16v).
