Vector 300XWP
The Vector 300XWP has all the functionality of a 300FM (without GSM Modem), and additionally includes Wireless LAN and a PLC4Trucks communications unit.
The Vector 300XWP is a lower cost option than the V300GWP and designed for applications where real time tracking and data communications are not required.
Typically data is collected from various sources connected to the device and subsequently transmits the data via WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, or other means
to a server at a later time
The PLC4Trucks communication standard uses the power wires of a vehicle to transmit communication signals. The Vector 300XWP when used in conjunction with the Prolificx PLCTAG is capable of:
- Detecting hook and drop hook events
- Distance reporting
- Gate arrival and departure warnings

The additional Green Fakra connector is for the Wireless LAN antenna. The additional 2-way Molex housing is the PLC4Trucks connector.
The Main V300XWP power supply is capable of running from a 12 or 24 volt supply as per a standard Vector 300FM, however the PLC reader power supply is a seperate connection and must only be connected to a 12v PLC system (10v-16v).
